UCT students win essay competition

A group of current and former students on the health systems track of the MPH of the School of Public Health and Family Medicine, University of Cape Town has won the Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research's essay competition. The competition invited essays on the future of health policy and systems research.

The winning entry by Amanda Edwards, Eleanor Whyle, Annabel Grieve, Chelsea Lee and Chirag Rajpuria was entitled Expanding the Boundaries of HPSR: A Southern Perspective.

The team will receive a cash prize and present their paper at the high-level conference Health Policy and Systems Research: 20 Years On in Stockholm in late April 2017.
